If you're travelling on a long haul flight you may be wondering what you should consider packing in your cabin luggage.
As hard as the airlines try not to, unfortunately on occasions we may find that our checked in luggage and us do not arrive in the same place at the same time!
This sobering thought may well influence what you decide to pack in you cabin case or bag.
Our thoughts about the top ten things to pack in your carry on bag are:
1. A change of clothing
2. Basic toiletries
3. Nightwear
4. Mobile phone
5. Guide books - the flight can be a great time to plan your holiday schedule
6. Novels/magazines
7. If you're unable to keep your flight documents and passports on your person (ideally in a hidden security wallet) then ensure that they are secure in your flight bag.
8. In flight entertainment - puzzle books, pocket games etc
9. Camera
10. iPod/MP3 player
Have we forgotten something? Let us know!
Don't forget that with the new airport rules all your electronic devices must be capable of being powered up at security or you'll be faced with having to leave them behind! Don't forget to pack your chargers!
.... and if you haven't yet got your cabin case, don't forget to visit Luggage UK.
