Best luggage for the business traveller

Business travel bags

Travelling on business?

Have you organised your luggage?

If you're on a day trip then all you may need is a bag, briefcase, backpack or mobile office so that you can take your laptop and business papers easily with you.  Which one you need will depend on your method of travel. A laptop bag or briefcase is good for most trips, but a backpack or mobile office (computer trolley bag on 2 wheels) is a great idea if you're moving around on foot or on public transport. Staying overnight or longer?  A wardrobe bag or suit carrier can be useful so you look smart for that business dinner or next day's meeting. Many have a hook that allows you to hand the unpacked bag over a wardrobe door to avoid unpacking until you need the garments.  Models range from basic covers to those with multiple external pockets, and some even have a trolley handle and 2 wheels. If you're flying then some modern cabin cases have the useful feature of an accessible laptop pocket - check out the American Tourister Atlanta Cabin Fit

Some small computer bags include a 'smart sleeve' - this is effectively a large belt loop on the back of the bag that enables you to securely carry the computer bag on top of your trolley suitcase with the sleeve around the extended trolley handle - makes moving around the terminal that much easier!
