In its Blog posted last Friday, the US TSA authorities report that it discovered 34 loaded firearms, a samurai sword and inert grenades during its regular inspections.
Created to strengthen the security of the USA's transportation systems, it also aims to ensure freedom of movement for people and commerce.
Prohibited items continue to be discovered on a regular basis, and those carrying them find themselves responsible for delays for other travellers as well as the likelihood of arrest and possible imprisonment by law enforcement authorities.
