If you're staying away for only a night or two a wardrobe bag helps keep your suit or dress crease free when you're on the move.  Many have a hook that can be placed over a wardrobe or other door that allows you to unfold your clothing to hang flat without the need to unpack it.  Larger capacity bags often have a telescopic trolley handle and two wheels for mobility.
