Ryanair plane subject to a security alert in Poland

According to reports on Sky News, a Ryanair aircraft was the subject of a suspected bomb hoax this morning.

The Ryanair plane that had not yet boarded was due to take off from Modin airport near Warsaw on a flight to Oslo.

Modin airport received an anonymous telephone call claiming that there was an explosive device on the flight. The plane was inspected and the airport partially closed. Subsequently the call was traced and a man arrested by police.
