Packing your summer holiday suitcase
OK, you've got you new lightweight suitcase from Luggage UK, but now comes the tricky part - PACKING IT!
Will you pack it yourself, or will your other half (if you have one) do it for you?
A recent survey reveals that just over half of women pack for their partner! Perhaps it's because the other half can't or won't pack? Could it be that left to their own devices they take the most embarrassing clothing? What do you think? Please email us.
The survey also suggests that when men do pack they take less time than than a woman - perhaps women take more care of how they pack? Perhaps men pack less?

Top suitcase packing tips from Luggage UK
Your looking forward to your summer holiday. You've bought your new lightweight suitcase at a great price from Luggage UK. You've checked your airlines weight limits and wonder how you'll be able to take that huge pile of packing on the bed!
We've produced a list of top tips that may help!
Produce a list of what you really have to take with you. If there are laundry facilities at your destination you may be able to take less. If it's a beach holiday then how much more than your beach wear will you actually need?
Unless you're happy to pay additional baggage charges on your return, always try and leave some capacity in your suitcase on your outbound journey - that way you'll have room for the inevitable momentos and gifts on your return trip.
Make maximum use of the space that you've actually got. Use the insides of shoes for small items and those that can be squashed.
You can help avoid clothing creasing by rolling under tension and securing with elastic bands - this also is a great idea to reduce the space taken rather than folding the garments.
Don't forget that you're also taking the clothes and footwear that you're wearing on the outward journey - wearing that cardigan or jumper as a second layer means that you won't have to pack it!
Don't forget that some of the smaller items and first night essentials can be taken into the cabin, a great idea in case the airline manages to lose your suitcase!
When you're done - relax, and have a great break!
