Why go for a staycation this year?
Recent research suggests that more of us than ever are planning a staycation this year rather than travelling abroad.
The rather good summer this year perhaps could be a factor? or maybe the recent reports of airport queues due to additional security measures? or perhaps just wishing to avoid the general frustrations of modern air travel?
Whatever the reason it's a great chance to discover the delights of what this country has to offer.
Being an island there is no shortage of coastline within a reasonable travelling distance for most of us - there's always something compelling about the sea, don't you think?
With a multitude of national parks, Britain has some incredible countryside to enjoy and give us a chance to really get away from the hustle and bustle of urban life.
If history is your interest, there's an abundance on offer! Organisations including the National Trust and English Heritage preserve a great number of the country's historic buildings. If you have a family then their family membership could prove a real bargain for you, and could pay for itself after just a few visits.
For those preferring a more active holiday there are many well signed footpaths and cycle tracks available for use -just the thing to work off a good lunch!
Whether you're travelling to you holiday by car, coach, train or plane, there's bound to be suitable luggage for your trip to be found at Luggage UK.
Even if you've already had your main holiday, what about arranging a break over the August Bank Holiday weekend? A great opportunity for a staycation!
