Changes in Indian Visa Application Procedures

Lightweight Cabin Luggage | Fast UK delivery

The Indian Government has announced changes to Visa applications for visiting the country from 16 March 2015.

As part of the program to collect biometric data from all visitors, visa applicants will be required to initially apply online, and then attend in person one of 14 VFS application centres strictly by appointment.  Here biometric data including fingerprints and facial imagery will be collected.

Only one person/applicant is allowed per appointment meaning that family and other groups must all make separate individual appointments.  Applicants are required to arrive at the centre 15 minutes head of the appointed time.

Centres will be available in London (3), Birmingham, Edinburgh, Manchester, Liverpool, Bradford, Belfast, Cardiff, Bristol, Newcastle, Glasgow & Leicester.
