Why we should take the train to Paris

Eurostar have produced a helpful guide explaining the advantages they see for their customers in travelling with them rather than flying.

From central London to central Paris they suggest that you'll arrive over an hour sooner by train rather than taking the plane, allowing for transfers.

Eurostar allow two pieces of luggage per person without any weight restriction - BA allow only one in Economy up to 23Kg

Eurostar seats have extra leg room compared to easyJet Economy - 84.5cm vs 71.0cm.

You have a choice of 20 trains a day on the route, with BA, the airline with the most daily flights from London to Paris, operating only 11 times.

Eurostar claim a punctuality rate of 92.5% against 85.1% for the best performing airline - great if you're on a tight schedule.
