FCO updates travel advice for Kenya
The UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) has updated its travel advice to British Nationals planning on visiting Kenya.
The existing advice for Kenya has been amended to advice against all but essential travel to an area within 60km of the Kenya/Somalia border, within 15km of most of Kenya's eastern coast and a number of inland areas.
The FCO states that there is a high risk of terrorism including kidnapping. It also provides travel advice for all other areas of the country where threats exist at a lower level
