Have a great Easter Holiday, but check your luggage first

You can now noticeably see the days getting longer and warmer. Spring is starting to be in the air. Easter is only a month away.

Traditionally Easter marks the beginning of the year's main holiday season, with the Easter weekend being among the busiest of the year for holidaymakers.

If you've planned to go away soon have you checked your luggage and baggage allowances yet? Your old battered suitcase may need replacing, or it may just eat too much into your weight limit.  Your cabin case may be too big for the budget airlines to go in the cabin.  For helpful advice on buying new luggage click here.

If you're not sure how much your packed suitcase weighs, why not do  dry run now and use a luggage scale to check you're within the limit? Modern suitcases are significantly lighter than they were even a few years ago, and the investment in a new one can avoid perhaps avoid the choice between excess baggage charges or the choice of what essentials you have to leave behind.

If you've previously had problems picking out your case in baggage reclaim, why not think about buying a new suitcase in a bold and bright colour - makes things a lot easier, particularly if you also add a colourful luggage strap.
