Why choose a 4 wheel suitcase over a 2 wheeled?

Buy lightweight hard side luggage

Should your new suitcase have 2 or 4 wheels?

The majority of new cases on the market are now produced with 4.  The main advantage is the very helpful ease of movement when you're stuck in a queue at the airport. With 4 wheels it's very easy to nudge your case along ahead of you.

It's easy to pull your 4 wheel spinner case along behind you with the swivel wheels adjusting themselves to the change in direction.  Best not to try pushing your case however as there is nothing to 'lock' the wheels in one position, and the case is likely to have a mind of its own! Your 4 wheel suitcase is also very stable when upright provided it is evenly loaded.

The wheels on a 4 wheel case are slightly more vulnerable to damage through knocks than a 2 wheel case where often they are partly recessed.

2 wheeled cases do still have some advantages - the wheels normally are bigger, making careful negotiation of steps and kerbs that much easier. The larger size is also likely to mean that the wheel's surface will last longer than on a 4 wheeled case. Two wheel cases can also be pushed in front of you with care.

Whichever style you choose you can be sure of a bargain when you order your new suitcase from Luggage UK by clicking here.
