FCO issues advice on travel to Nepal after the earthquake

Following the terrible earthquake last week and the horrendous loss of life and suffering, the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) has updated its travel advice for Nepal.

The FCO advises against all but essential travel to the country. For those in the country already they say that if you're in safe place at the moment to stay there until it is safe to leave, and that the advice given by the local authorities should be followed.
