Ryanair updates its charges for carrying sports equipment

'Europe's favourite airline' Ryanair has announced changes to the charges it makes when you carry sports equipment on its flights.

It had previously levied a flat 50 Euro charge each way regardless of the size of the item - it has now introduced lower charges of 30 Euros for small items and golf bags, 40 Euros for skis, and 60 Euros each way for large items such as kayaks and bikes.
