Struggling carrier Malaysian Airlines has appointed a new Chief Executive designate to help turn its fortunes around.
Hit by two successive disasters, the loss of flight MH370 heading to China and the shooting down of flight MH17 over the Ukraine, the national carrier of Malaysia has been struggling against falling passenger numbers.
As part of the financial recovery plan, the company will be delisted from the Malaysian Stock Exchange, and Mr Mueller, currently Aer Lingus CEO being appointed to lead the airline's recovery from early 2015.
