Don't be in too much of a rush to grab your Luggage from the carousel and leave the terminal!
It's well worth spending a few minutes inspecting your Suitcases before you leave for any damage that they have suffered since you checked them in.
If you're unlucky enough to have fallen victim to the Baggage Handlers, you'll find it's much easier to claim there and then on your Airline rather than wait until you get home. Do remember that the warranty on almost all luggage that is sold specifically excluded accidental damage including that by your airline.
You should find that there is a desk someone in baggage reclaim that's just waiting for you to let them know about any problems.
