Advice on flying your drone

Are you one of the growing number of people starting to fly a drone in the UK?

If you are then it's well worth checking out the advice given by the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regarding their use.

While the CAA has very specific concern for aviation safety, and is anxious to avoid the reported close encounters between drones and planes as reported in the media, their advice also includes warnings regarding infringing the privacy of others.

Two Awards for Melbourne Airport

Melbourne Airport in Australia has recently won 2 prestigious awards presented by the Australian Airports Association as part of their National Airport Industry Awards.

A safety award was made for Melbourne's innovative integrated baggage belt 'safety switch'.

Another award was presented in respect of the international departures check in area self-service kiosk and automated bag drop system.
