Low cost airline easyJet reports that its profits before tax for the year to 30 September 2014 have increased by a magnificent 21.5% over the corresponding results for 2013
Impressively behind the headline figures are the following important improvements:
- revenue per seat increased by 1.2% on a reported basis
- cost per seat fell by 1.2% on a reported basis
- seats flown grew by 5.1% to 71.5 million
- load factors increased by 1.35 to 90.6%
- passenger number rose by 6.6% to 64.8 million
